Niğde Governor Yılmaz Şimşek said that Niğde-Bor Agriculture-Based Livestock Specialization Organized Industrial Zone will contribute 125 million dollars to the economy of Niğde region and the country.
Emphasizing that they have developed 3 vision projects for Niğde, Governor Şimşek said: “When I started working in Niğde, we first established the Niğde Project Office. We developed 3 vision projects for Niğde with the friends working in this project office. One of them was the Ketençimen Ski Centre. We implemented this project. We opened it last week. We had planned a chemical organized industry for the calcite sector, which is the locomotive sector in Niğde. As a result of consultations with our Ministry, we decided that this organized industrial zone should be a mixed organized industry and we brought it to Niğde.”

Governor Şimşek, who stated that the Agriculture-Based Livestock Specialization Organized Industrial Zone will provide employment for approximately 4 thousand people over time, also explained “Another project is Niğde-Bor Agriculture-Based Livestock Specialized Organized Industrial Zone, which we have planned on a 4 thousand decares of land in our Bor District. This will be a region with an annual meat production capacity of 18 thousand tonnes, consisting of 300 enterprises with a capacity of 50 thousand cattle and will provide employment for approximately 4 thousand people.”
“Agricultural-Based Fattening Specialized Organized Industrial Zone will make great contributions not only to the economy of Niğde but also to the country’s economy.
