Mustafa Kayhan, the former General Director of Livestock, who was appointed as the General Manager of the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK) by Agriculture and Forestry Minister Professor Dr. Vahit Kirişçi, took over the task from Osman Uzun.
“Producers’ welfare and consumers’ access to food is our priority”
Speaking at the handover ceremony, where the heads of departments of the institution were present, General Manager Kayhan underlined that the welfare of the producers and the access of consumers to food are their main priorities.
Kayhan said, “We closely follow the effects of the problems in the world on our country’s agriculture and animal husbandry and the global problems in food and agricultural products. We will try to take the measures that should be taken institutionally and to implement the decisions of our government regarding agriculture and food policies in the shortest and most accurate way.”
ESK General Manager Mustafa Kayhan also thanked Osman Uzun for his services to the Institution so far.
