Stating that there is approximately 4 thousand tons of tobacco production in Selendi District of Manisa province, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli said the draft law on tobacco in the Parliament.
Pakdemirli said, “We have a law pending in the Parliament on tobacco. There are so many foreign companies here, they produce this much, let’s make them oblige to use 30 percent domestic tobacco.”
Pakdemirli noted, “I hope we will have made this law in October. They will have to use 30 percent of local tobacco. The tobacco producer will not look for a place to sell when they produce it, the factory will be ready.”
“Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to sell our tobacco more valuable,” Pakdemirli added…
