The Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association, which is the leader of food exports in the Aegean Region and is at the top of Türkiye’s exports in the fishery and animal products sector, continues an aggressive promotional attack in 2023 to break new records in exports. The sector aims to grow in the Far East and Southeast Asia, its target market, through Singapore.
Sinan Kızıltan, Chairman of the Sector Board of Turkish Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Associations, said that they participated in the Seafood Expo Asia Fair held in Singapore on 11-13 September 2023 and promoted to ramp up the exports of sea bass-bream, Turkish salmon, rock bass, smoked trout, dairy products and other products in the sector’s field of activity, He also stated that Singapore imports 1.3 billion dollars worth of aquaculture products annually, mostly from China and that they aim to get a share of 50 million dollars from this import as Türkiye and that they had the opportunity to introduce Turkish aquaculture products and animal products to importers coming from all over the world in Singapore and to provide information about the products.
While 4 companies from Türkiye participated in the Seafood Expo Asia Fair held in Singapore on 11-13 September 2023, the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association was represented by Sinan Kızıltan, Chairman of the Turkish Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association Sector Board, Mesut Ergül and Keskin Keskinoğlu, Board Members of the Aegean Fishery Products and Animal Products Exporters’ Association.
