438 million 301 thousand dollars hazelnuts were exported to 59 countries from Trabzon province…
The countries, exported the most hazelnuts from the region were Italy, Germany and France.
In the 7-month period of this year, hazelnuts worth 438 million 301 thousand 333 dollars were exported from Trabzon.
According to the data of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB), 1 billion 170 million 439 thousand dollars were obtained from the export of 169 thousand 460 tonnes of hazelnuts from Turkey in the January-July period of this year.
In this period, companies based in Trabzon province provided a foreign exchange inflow of 438 million 301 thousand 333 dollars with 60 thousand 155 tonnes of hazelnut exports.
In the said period, the number of countries exporting hazelnuts from Trabzon was 59.
The countries with the highest hazelnut sales were listed as Italy, Germany and France. During this period, 154 million 618 thousand 590 dollars were exported to Italy, 58 million 363 thousand dollars to Germany and 44 million 397 thousand 226 dollars to France.
