The Agricultural Giant Made a Big Move in the Fertiliser Sector!
Agrotech announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it acquired 70 per cent of Profert’s shares. Profert is a fertiliser and pesticide manufacturer operating in Türkiye’s western province of Manisa. With this step, Agrotech aims to strengthen its goal of playing an active role in agricultural production.
Agriculture and technology company Agrotech announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has acquired 70 percent of the shares of Profert, which continues its activities in the field of fertiliser production.
EFFECTIVE ROLE IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION…
Stating that they aim to continue to grow in different areas of the agriculture and food sector in the coming period, Agrotech General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Demiröz made the following assessment regarding Agrotech’s statement to KAP:
“We attach great importance to this step in terms of Agrotech’s goal of playing an active role in all processes of agricultural production. Profert has a wide product portfolio that can solve all soil-related problems in areas such as plant nutrition, soil regulation and plant growth regulators. The products of the company, which has exported to 9 countries so far, are also licensed by the European Union. As Agrotech, one of the most important factors for us to take this decision is that the company is the first domestic company to produce smart fertilisers in the field of smart fertilisers that target a more fertile soil with less fertiliser and pollute the soil less.”
“With this acquisition, we will continue to contribute to the agricultural development of our country both in all areas of agricultural production and in all our products that we plan to take to the shelves,” Demiröz added…
