Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation of Turkey (KOSGEB), which started the Fruit and Vegetables Cold Chain Financing Support Programme, will provide support up to 750 thousand TL for domestic goods and new refrigerated cases and cold room units that SMEs will acquire through leasing.
Traders and brokers operating in wholesale markets and logistics companies engaged in vegetable-fruit transportation will benefit from the programme.
An important step has been taken in line with the actions in the Economic Reforms Action Plan announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
KOSGEB, which took action within the framework of the action of “Creation of cold chain will be supported to reduce the loss of vegetables and fruits” in the plan, SMEs operating as wholesalers, brokers professionals and those engaged in vegetable/fruit transport. The ‘Fruit and Vegetables Cold Chain Financing Support Programme’ was put into effect to support SMEs.
Within the framework of the programme, KOSGEB will cover 10 points of the financing cost that will occur in the acquisition of 1 cold air unit, provided that it is domestic and new, without repayment. The same application will be valid for up to 10 refrigerated cases or units.
