EXPORTS WORTH APP 107 MILLION DOLLARS MADE FROM EASTERN BLACK SEA IN JANUARY…

Exports from the provinces of the Eastern Black Sea Region (Trabzon, Artvin, Rize and Gümüşhane) which is under the jurisdiction of our General Secretariat of Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB), amounted to 106 million 783 thousand 758 dollars in January 2022.

Exports from our Region in January 2022; 84 million 539 thousand 398 dollars came from Trabzon, 11 million 213 thousand 544 dollars from Rize, 5 million 987 thousand 730 dollars from Artvin and 5 million 43 thousand 85 dollars from Gümüşhane.

Trabzon ranked first in the Black Sea region with an export of 84 million 539 thousand 398 dollars, having the highest export volume.

After Trabzon, Samsun is in the second place with 76 million 834 thousand 693 dollars of export, while Çorum takes the 3rd place with 59 million 735 thousand 406 dollars.

In the first month of 2022, the most exported sectors from the Eastern Black Sea Region are;

  • Hazelnuts with 55 million 266 thousand 288 dollars,
  • Fresh fruits and vegetables with 18 million 213 thousand 851 dollars,
  • Mineral metals with 13 million 188 thousand 461 dollars,
  • Fisheries and livestock products with 3 million 227 thousand 257 dollars

Exports were made to 83 different countries from the Region in January 2022…

The top 5 countries with most exports are respectively; Italy, the Russian Federation, Bulgaria, Georgia and Germany.

There was an increase of 39 percent in exports to Bulgaria, 59 percent in exports to Georgia and 65 percent in exports to Germany.
