As one of Turkey’s traditional export products, 246 thousand tons of seedless grapes were exported to 99 countries between the dates of September 1, 2018 – August 17, 2019 in return for 502 million dollars.
Turkey, in the same period of the 2017/18 season, on the basis of the amount of 273 thousand tons of raisins exported and 443 million 127 thousand dollars had obtained as foreign exchange income.
Exports of raisins decreased by 10 percent on quantity basis, but increased by 13 percent on value basis.
Turkey is now experiencing the joy of exceeding 500 million dollars after six years. Because Turkey, at the end of the 2012-13 season, had exported 536 million dollars worth of raisins.
