EU COUNTRIES OBTAIN A SURPLUS OF 47 BILLION EUROS IN AGRICULTURAL TRADE…

EU gave a surplus of 47 billion Euros in agricultural trade…

EU countries exported 197 billion Euros of agricultural products last year, as well as imported 150 billion Euros.

The European Union (EU) had a surplus of 47 billion Euros from agricultural product trade last year. In this regard, the European Statistical Office (Eurostat) shared data on the EU’s agricultural trade in 2021.

MOST EXPORTS MADE TO ENGLAND…

Accordingly, last year, the agricultural product trade of 27 EU member countries soared by 20.7 billion Euros compared to the previous year and reached a figure of 347 billion Euros. Thus, the EU had a surplus of 47 billion Euros in agricultural product trade in 2021. The EU exported the most agricultural products to the UK.

The EU realized 21 percent of its total agricultural product exports to the UK, 12 percent to the USA, 8 percent to China, 5 percent to Switzerland, 4 percent to Japan and Russia…
