Erzurum Commodity Exchange took another important step towards branding and promotion of Erzurum by registering “Erzurum Water Cheese Pastry” (Erzurum Su Böreği) from the Geographical Indication Certificate (TURKPATENT).
“We must increase our registered local products”
Stating that they must increase the number of registered products, Erzurum Commodity Exchange Chairman Hakan Oral said, “Turkey’s agricultural potential, production culture, geographical structure and the cultural diversity of traditional and local products are so rich that Turkey is one of the world’s richest countries in this respect.”
