The Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) supported the Association of Ecological Agriculture Organisation (ETO), one of the leading organisations of organic agriculture in the world and ensured that innovations in the field of organic agriculture were conveyed to stakeholders.
Professor Dr. Uygun Aksoy, Chairwoman of the Ecological Agriculture Organisation (ETO) Association, said, “Organic agriculture requires the correct management of natural resources, soil, water, biodiversity, human, animal in agriculture based on knowledge in a way to protect both the environment and human, animal and plant health.”
“Within this framework, knowledge is constantly enriched and updated with experiences emerging from both research and direct practices. As the Association of Ecological Agriculture Organisation (ETO), we have renewed the basic bedside book, which was previously published in 2002 and renewed in 2012 and expanded and renewed it to include new practices such as changes in regulations, scientific findings or some restorative techniques, as well as additional information to provide solutions to today’s problems such as climate change and similar problems,” she added.
“It is a source book where all relevant sector organisations can learn techniques to manage agricultural ecosystems correctly in the world we live in today, not only as a product or production system that only a certain group buys organic agriculture or only for export, but also to provide us with the most additional services provided by nature,” şhe concluded…
