DR. MURAT ÇAKMAKLI: KARAGÜL UNIQUE TO HALFETİ BEGINS TO BLOOM

Karagül (Black rose) started to be grown in greenhouses established in Halfeti in 2018 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The unique “Karagül” of Halfeti district of Şanlıurfa province which is grown only in this region, gave its first fruits. Cologne was started to be manufactured by producing from black roses grown in greenhouses.

Akan Akmeşe, Halfeti Agriculture and Forestry District Director, who closely follows these studies and his personnel, visited Şanlıurfa Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Director, Dr. Murat Çakmaklı in his office.

The personnel, who shared the details with the Provincial Director, informed him about the subject.
