Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association Chairman Bedri Girit said, “With the announcement by People’s Republic of China Customs Administration, 54 Turkish firms enabled to export milk and dairy products to China recently. In this context, our product portfolio is expanding.”
Stating that Chinese market with a population of 1.5 billion will be a lifeline for Turkish producers, Girit noted, “We are also in anticipation of development for poultry products as well. Studies are ongoing for the exports of many more product groups to China and there is a distance to cover.”
“We started our first meeting with an online meeting with the China-based Imported Food Products Association located in Guangzhou. Our talks with different organizations in China will continue in the coming days,” Girit concluded…
