In November 2021, chicken meat production soared by 16.1 pct compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 197 thousand 334 tonnes, while chicken egg production diminished by 3.9 pct to 1.6 billion units. While the number of slaughtered chickens grown by 13.7 pct, turkey meat production decreased by 1.9 pct.
In the January-November 2021 period compared to the same period of the previous year, chicken meat production expanded by 4.3 pct, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 2.5 pct, chicken egg production decreased by 2.4 pct and turkey meat production gone down by 14.8 pct.
