According to poultry production data, chicken meat production decreased by 2.2 percent in April compared to the previous month, to 187 thousand 459 tons and egg production decreased by 2.5 percent to 1.6 billion units.

Chicken meat production was 187 thousand 459 tons, chicken egg production was 1.6 billion units.
The number of slaughtered chickens increased by 6.2% and chicken meat production increased by 4.7% in April compared to the same month of the previous year. Chicken egg production decreased by 1.9% and turkey meat production decreased by 12.2%.
In January-April period, chicken meat production increased by 7.9%, number of slaughtered chicken by 7.3%, chicken egg production by 0.4%, while turkey meat production decreased by 1.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
