Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association Chairperson Birol Celep, announced that as of 2021, total dried fruit exports increased by 12.6 percent and amounted to approximately 1.6 billion dollars.
Celep said, “If we are going to increase our exports to 250 billion dollars in 2022, we have to reach financing to the same extent. Since the process is unpredictable, our industries cannot calculate the cost. Our first priority is to establish trust by all parties, from the producer to the final consumer.”
“Although the EU Green Deal is perceived as a risk for the world, this is a great chance for Turkey. There are serious supports given by EU funds and the World Bank. The increase in demand for healthy food will continue in 2022. We have been focusing on Turquality projects for three years. We need to highlight the perception of corporate identity at the stage of the marketing and value creation chain,” Celep added…
