Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) continues to contribute to exporters with new projects every day to ramp up the exports of all sectors in the region.

Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, which is the only authorised institution of the region in exports in order to fulfil the duties assigned by the Ministry of Trade for the development of exports; continues to continue its intensive overseas programmes to improve the export capacity of the companies in the region by successfully carrying out the projects of Aquaculture-Turkish Salmon, Turkish Tea, Construction and Building Materials and E-Export Platform.

This time, as of December, the Development of International Competitiveness (UR-GE) project, which was prepared under the name of the Eastern Black Sea Region Food Cluster and includes nearly 20 companies in the region in total, was approved and accepted by the Ministry of Trade.

Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan, Vice Chair of DKİB, who made evaluations on the subject, stated that they are making intensive efforts to enhance the export capacities of all sectors in the Eastern Black Sea Region and their aim is to increase the exports of all sectors in the region to higher ranks, to discover new export markets and thus to boost the export capacities of the companies and to raise the exports of the region to higher figures.

In this context, Gürdoğan said that the project was approved by submitting the Food Project, which includes 20 companies, to the Ministry of Trade in order to promote the food sector of the Eastern Black Sea Region and the flavours of the region in the kitchens of the whole world, and that the project was approved.

“We will start overseas marketing activities quickly after the companies are analysed and their need capacities are determined and that we are hopeful that we will participate in the world’s leading food fairs and promote the food products and unique flavours of the Eastern Black Sea Region and surge our exports of food products to much higher figures,” he added…
