Agricultural tools produced by 10 companies in Agricultural Machinery Specialized Industrial Site (TARMİSS) situated the Malazgirt district of Muş province are exported to 5 countries.
10 companies producing agricultural tools in the enterprises established within TARMİSS sell their products to Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Syria and Iraq as well as domestically.
Upon the special demands of customers, the companies that prepare agricultural tools suitable for the land conditions are preferred with the guarantee of quality.
Once established, companies receiving equipment with a 50 per cent grant from the government will contribute to the city’s economy by employing hundreds of people.
“A significant progress has been made in the field of agricultural equipment” said
Malazgirt Chamber of Agriculture Chairman Tahsin Kılınç in a statement and reminded that TARMISSS set up in 2008 with the support of former Minister of Industry and Trade Zafer Çağlayan.
Kılınç also noted that agricultural equipments are produced by 10 companies in the industrial site and added:
“Our companies export agricultural equipments to many countries. All agricultural tools are prepared in Malazgirt. We have to take care of these companies.”
