AEGEAN EXPORTERS REALISED 1.22 MILLION DOLLARS OF EXPORT IN SEPTEMBER…

Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) realized 1 billion 223 million dollars of export in September. EİB had signed an export of 1 billion 158 million dollars in September 2019. EİB’s exports increased by 6 percent compared to September 2019.

The exports of EIB have been recorded as a month of September record in its 81-year history.

While Turkey’s exports in September; It increased by 4.8 percent from 15 billion 273 million dollars to 16 billion 13 million dollars.

Aegean Exporters’ Associations, which signed exports of 9 billion 299 million dollars in the January-September period, in the last 1 year period; It earned 12 billion 793 million dollars foreign exchange to Turkey.

While 8 of the 12 exporter associations within the EIB managed to increase their exports in September, 4 of them fell behind the export performance of the last year.

Exports of fresh fruits, vegetables and products reached the target of 1 billion dollars.

Meanwhile Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association was among the ones that exceeded the 100 million dollar threshold with exports of 102 million 210 thousand dollars in September. Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association, in the last year, reached an export figure of 1 billion 3 million dollars and exceeded the 1 billion dollar threshold.

In September, the Aegean Tobacco Exporters’ Association made an export of 89 million dollars and the Aegean Dry Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association signed an export of 88 million dollars.

While the exports of the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association increased by 15 percent from 74 million dollars to 85 million dollars in September, the Aegean Furniture Paper and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association made an export of 55.4 million dollars.

On the other hand, Aegean Grain Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association exported 36.6 million dollars with 18 percent export growth. Aegean Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association earned 23 million dollars of foreign currency to Turkey.

While the export of Aegean Leather and Leather Products was 11.7 million dollars in September, the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association recorded 9.3 million dollars of exports.
