123 MILLION LIRAS NET PROFIT FROM GÜBRETAŞ IN THE FIRST HALF…

As of June 30, the consolidated net profit of GÜBRETAŞ, which was the parent company share, was 123.4 million TL.

GÜBRETAŞ announced its balance sheet regarding its activities in the first 6 months of this year on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

Continuing its pioneering role in the sector with its products and services aimed at increasing productivity in agriculture as well as its investments, GÜBRETAŞ continued its operational and financial growth in the first half of the year as in the first quarter.

GÜBRETAŞ, which produced 304 thousand tons of fertilizers in various compositions in the January-June period of this year, increased the total sales amount of solid, liquid and powder fertilizers, which was 1 million 80 thousand tons in the same period of the previous year, to 1 million 129 thousand tons in the first 6 months.

Consequently GÜBRETAŞ’s total net sales in Turkey activities realized as TL 2 billion, its subsidiaries contributed to the consolidated net sales rose by 5 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 2 billion 683 million TL.

GÜBRETAŞ, compared to the same period last year, raised the amount of sales activities in Turkey by 20 percent, while catching 25 percent of gross profit and 9 percent of EBITDA increase in the consolidated statements.

With these results, GÜBRETAŞ, which escalated its gross profit and EBITDA, as of June 30, the consolidated net profit of the parent company was 123.4 million TL.

“We completed the first quarter of the year with a record”

GÜBRETAŞ General Director İbrahim Yumaklı, whose views took part in the statement, said that they have drawn attention to the continuity of agricultural production since the beginning of the pandemic which was the main agenda of Turkey along with the whole world.

Yumaklı said, “We continued our activities uninterruptedly by making great efforts to contribute to this process in terms of chemical fertilizer input.”

“Despite the epidemic, the spring season in agricultural production was completed efficiently,” Yumaklı added.
